St Mary’s, Wendover
St Mary’s, Listed Grade II* in Buckinghamshire, is found nestling at the foot of The Chilterns. The town has moved away from the Church over the centuries but remains the centre of the community being used nearly every day of the week, however the facilities did not support this intensity of activity.
The PCC sought with the support of the diocese to undertake a major re-ordering which included conservation of the Mediaeval fabric, new heating, lighting and the installation of data cabling together with restoration of the stonework, stained glass and the furniture introduced by G E Street.
