Testimonials

We live in a conservation area in the South Downs National Park and we have turned to Robin and his team for help on numerous occasions. We could not have negotiated the complexities of the planning system without them when we refurbished our Grade 2 listed house in 2018 and indeed their input resulted in our project being nominated runner up in the small residential category of the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards in 2020. We have been most grateful subsequently for their support when applying for an air source heat pump and, most recently, heritage double glazing. They are always professional, friendly, efficient and supremely knowledgeable.

Mrs Cunningham

Opened on the 03 May 1933, Cranleigh Village Hall was built as a memorial to those that lost their lives in the great war. It was designed for an era of tea dances with a beautiful ornate barrel shaped ceiling. It originally had a cloak room and ticket office and toilets below the stage. Robin Nugent Architects assisted the Parish Council to modernise the facilities with a DDA compliant disabled toilet, replacement stage and new bar and coffee shop. They guided and supported the Parish Council from design inception, technical drawings, tendering, pre-construction through to project management, completion and inspection and liaising with trades. This is the third project collabroation with Robin Nugent Architects which has been delivered on time and within budget. The Parish Council is delighted to now be embarking on a fourth project with Robin Nugent Architects to build a new machine shed in our recreation ground.

We are very happy with the support received by Robin Nugent Architects, achieving Planning Permission for a large rear extension to our home, We are very impressed with how passionately Robin and Chelsey dealt with this project and provided every possible support throughout the process from designing to completion, supporting through detailed design achieving our desired outcome which has been finished to a high standard which we are really pleased to now be enjoying as a family.

Mr and Mrs Iqbal

We were very pleased with Robin Nugent Architects. They did a fantastic job for us at our home in Hayes Kent; completely re-designing our locally listed 1860's Cottage which is situated in a conservation area. A pre-planning application was carried out initially and full heritage statements which was very helpful in finding out what the local authority would be happy with. The planning process went very smoothly with no problems due to the lovely design submitted. Their drawings were very good, and their design ideas were fantastic with a huge attention to the detail. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

Mr and Mrs Clayton

We would like to thank Robin Nugent Architects for their professional service designing our extension and guiding us through the planning process.
